Returns & credit If a piece can't be found. Vietnamese fashion houses are small, and many of the best pieces are produced in very limited runs. Occasionally a piece sells out between quotation and purchase, a size becomes unavailable, or a parcel is delayed or held in transit. This page explains exactly what happens to your money in each case. The policy is consistent, decided in advance, and applied the same way every time.

The rule

The rule

Money that has not been spent is returned as money. Money already spent on your behalf is returned as credit.

I do not hold inventory. Every payment you make is either still held by me or has already been paid to a boutique, atelier, or courier. That distinction determines whether you receive a cash refund or credit.

Which applies

Two states, one answer

For an order that is partly underway, the policy can apply in both ways: unspent amounts are refunded as money, while committed amounts are issued as credit. You will receive a line-by-line breakdown rather than a single combined figure.

Your credit

Three ways to use it

  1. Clothing credit

Use it toward any piece from any Vietnamese house at its actual receipt price, with no markup.

  2. Styling credit

Use it toward styling tiers, sourcing fees, The Trace, in-shop sessions, or shipping.

  3. A combination of both

Split it however you prefer. If you do not specify, it remains as one flexible balance that can be used across all services.

Credit value

Credit value

105%

Credit is normally issued at 105% of the amount paid, because a sold-out piece is an inconvenience caused by the process, not by you. A one-of-one vintage piece that becomes unavailable after purchase is credited at 110%. If the issue is my fault — for example, the wrong size or item is ordered, or I miss an agreed deadline — you may choose either a cash refund or 115% credit.

How credit works

The small print, kept small

Honestly

Costs that cannot be returned as cash

Some costs are paid to third parties and cannot be recovered once incurred. Where possible they may be reflected in credit, but they cannot be refunded in cash:

This is why I encourage bank transfer or Wise at checkout: fewer payment fees mean less can be lost if a refund becomes necessary.

What this policy does not promise

A policy that promises everything is not worth trusting. These are the limits, stated rather than buried:

Before you pay

Questions before payment

If your order depends on a firm deadline, a piece's availability, or a borderline size, please ask before paying. Nothing is purchased without your approval.
